Sustainable Data Pipeline for Real-Time Environmental Monitoring

The goal of this project is to develop a state-of-the-art data pipeline that integrates real-time data feeds across multiple environmental monitoring stations globally. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Apache Kafka for event streaming, Spark for processing, and Snowflake for data warehousing, we intend to create a sustainable framework that supports our overarching mission of social impact and ecological responsibility. The pipeline will be designed to accommodate large volumes of data efficiently, ensuring low latency and high reliability. MLOps practices will be incorporated to facilitate seamless integration of machine learning models that predict environmental patterns and suggest actionable insights. The project will also involve setting up data observability protocols to provide transparency and auditability, ensuring our data processes align with regulatory standards and environmental compliance.
