Smart City Cloud Infrastructure Optimization with GitOps

As an enterprise company at the forefront of Smart Cities innovation, we are committed to enhancing urban living through advanced technological solutions. We aim to optimize our cloud infrastructure to support the dynamic needs of smart city services including traffic management, energy distribution, and public safety. This project involves deploying a robust, scalable infrastructure using GitOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Key technologies include Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for IaC, Docker for application packaging, and Prometheus along with Grafana for observability and monitoring. Special focus is on security automation to ensure strong compliance with urban data regulations. The project will also explore multi-cloud strategies to ensure resilience and flexibility. Our goal is to create a seamless, responsive urban experience for millions of residents while simultaneously reducing costs and increasing operational efficiency.
