Real-time Data Pipeline for Improved Veterinary Patient Care

As a growing veterinary services provider, we recognize the need to leverage data to enhance our operational efficiency and patient care offerings. Our project involves the development of a real-time data pipeline that consolidates data from disparate sources such as electronic health records (EHR), lab results, and client management systems. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Apache Kafka for event streaming, Spark for processing, and Airflow for orchestrating workflow, we aim to create a seamless data flow into a centralized platform like Snowflake or BigQuery. This setup will enable our veterinary staff to access real-time analytics, ultimately leading to better treatment decisions and improved patient outcomes. Moreover, implementing MLOps practices will allow us to continuously deploy and monitor machine learning models that aid in diagnosing and predicting health issues in animals. The outcome will be a more informed and efficient practice, ready to handle growing client expectations and competitive pressures.
