Real-Time Data Integration and Analytics Platform for Special Education

Our startup is focused on revolutionizing the special education sector by providing real-time, data-driven insights to educators and administrators. We are seeking an experienced data engineering professional to design and implement a real-time data integration and analytics platform. This platform will aggregate data from various sources, including student performance, attendance records, and individualized education plans (IEPs). By leveraging key technologies such as Apache Kafka for event streaming, Spark for data processing, and Snowflake for data warehousing, the platform will deliver actionable insights that help tailor educational strategies to the individual needs of special education students. Additional tasks include setting up data observability and ensuring data quality and compliance with educational data standards. The project requires a strong understanding of MLOps to integrate machine learning models that predict educational outcomes, providing educators with predictive insights to enhance learning experiences.
