Optimizing Volunteer Engagement through Cloud-based DevOps Transformation

As a rapidly growing volunteer organization dedicated to maximizing impact, we face the challenge of maintaining efficient operations while scaling our volunteer activities and services. With increasing demand for our services, it's critical to ensure our IT infrastructure is robust, secure, and scalable. This project aims to transform our existing infrastructure by implementing a multi-cloud approach, leveraging DevOps methodologies to automate processes, improve observability, and enhance security. Key deliverables include the deployment of a Kubernetes cluster for container orchestration, creating Infrastructure as Code scripts using Terraform, and establishing a continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline using Jenkins and ArgoCD. Additionally, we require a comprehensive observability solution using Prometheus and Grafana to monitor system performance. The successful execution of this project will significantly enhance our operational capabilities, allowing us to engage more effectively with volunteers and better serve our communities.
