Optimizing Cloud Infrastructure for Sports Event Management Platform

As a leading provider in sports event management for SMEs, we are faced with the challenge of scaling our operations to meet the growing demands of our clients during major events. Our current infrastructure struggles with handling sudden traffic spikes, leading to performance bottlenecks and potential downtime. We aim to engage a Cloud & DevOps expert to revamp our cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes for container orchestration and Terraform for infrastructure as code. The project will also incorporate GitOps principles and multi-cloud strategies to distribute load and ensure high availability. Observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana will be integrated to monitor real-time performance and preemptively address issues. We intend to automate security processes to protect sensitive athlete and event data, using Jenkins and ArgoCD for CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes. This initiative is critical as it aligns with our goals of offering a seamless user experience and maintaining our competitive edge in the fast-evolving sports technology landscape.
