Implementing Multi-Cloud Infrastructure with GitOps for Enhanced Travel Booking Scalability

In the competitive world of travel and tourism, our SME, specializing in bespoke holiday packages, has identified the need to enhance our digital infrastructure to manage increased booking volumes during peak seasons effectively. The project involves transitioning to a multi-cloud environment, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. We aim to implement GitOps methodologies to streamline our deployment processes and improve system observability. This will be achieved by integrating Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, and ArgoCD for continuous deployment. Additionally, we will utilize Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and logging, ensuring our systems are secure and performant. By automating security measures and improving our CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins, we intend to reduce the time-to-market for new features and increase overall platform reliability.
