Enhanced Multi-Cloud Infrastructure for Scalable Journalism Platforms

As a forward-thinking scale-up in the News & Journalism industry, we face the challenge of maintaining high-performance, scalable platforms to deliver news content reliably to our global audience. The current infrastructure struggles under traffic surges, especially during significant news events, impacting our service availability and user experience. This project focuses on implementing a multi-cloud strategy to distribute our workloads across various cloud providers, enhancing both scalability and resilience. By adopting GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), we aim to streamline our deployment processes, making them more consistent and less error-prone. We'll leverage Kubernetes to manage containerized applications at scale, alongside Terraform to ensure our infrastructure is coded, managed, and versioned effectively. Jenkins will orchestrate our CI/CD pipeline, ensuring smooth integration and deployment of updates. For monitoring and observability, Prometheus and Grafana will provide real-time insights into system performance, enabling proactive issue resolution. The project is expected to take 8-12 weeks with a budget of $15,000 to $50,000, reflecting its complexity and urgency.
