Development of a Next-Gen Manufacturing Web Portal for Optimized Workflow Management

As a growing manufacturing startup, we've identified a critical need for an efficient, user-friendly web portal to manage our production workflows effectively. Our current systems are fragmented, leading to inefficiencies and communication bottlenecks. This project aims to develop a Progressive Web App (PWA) that centralizes workflow management, providing real-time insights into production cycles and resource allocation. Key objectives include creating a responsive, mobile-first design using React and Next.js, ensuring fast load times and offline capabilities through service workers. We'll leverage GraphQL for efficient data fetching and to create a flexible API layer that integrates with our existing back-end systems. The portal will feature an intuitive dashboard for real-time monitoring and reporting, enabling timely decision-making and resource optimization. By implementing micro-frontends, we can scale the application as our needs grow, while WebAssembly will be explored to enhance performance-critical components. Additionally, we aim to incorporate WebRTC for seamless video collaboration between teams, enhancing communication across departments. Overall, the project will significantly contribute to reducing production downtime, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a collaborative environment, aligning with our strategic growth objectives.
