Decentralized Supply Chain Management for Sustainable Furniture Production

Our company, a medium-sized enterprise dedicated to producing high-quality, sustainable furniture, is looking to integrate blockchain technology into our supply chain processes. The project's primary objective is to develop a decentralized application (dApp) that tracks and verifies the journey of raw materials from suppliers to finished products in our inventory. By employing smart contracts and NFTs, we will create immutable records of each transaction and process, ensuring accountability and reducing the risk of fraud. Customers will receive a unique digital certificate linked to their purchase, providing proof of ethical sourcing and production. The project will be built using Solidity for smart contracts, with Web3.js and Ethers.js for dApp development. We will utilize the Polygon network for cost-effective transactions and IPFS for decentralized storage. Integration with Chainlink will ensure real-world data integrity. The successful implementation of this solution will not only strengthen our brand's reputation for sustainability but also streamline operations and improve supplier relationships.
