Building a Real-time Veterinary Data Pipeline for Enhanced Patient Care

As a veterinary services scale-up, we aim to revolutionize how pet health data is collected and analyzed. We are looking for a skilled data engineer to design and implement a real-time data pipeline that aggregates information across multiple veterinary clinics and pet care facilities. This pipeline will leverage the latest technologies such as Apache Kafka for event streaming, Spark for real-time analytics, and Airflow for orchestrating complex workflows. Our goal is to offer veterinarians real-time insights into patient health metrics, enabling proactive health management and personalized treatment plans. The project involves setting up a data mesh architecture to ensure each clinic's data can be independently managed yet seamlessly integrated into a larger data network. We are committed to adopting MLOps best practices to facilitate model deployment and monitoring, enhancing our predictive capabilities. With data observability tools, we aim to maintain high data quality and reliability, crucial for accurate analytics and reporting.
