About Me
With over six years of professional full stack development experience, I specialize in creating user-friendly, accessible, and engaging web applications that meet the needs and expectations of diverse audiences. I have extensive experience and proficiency in React.js, as well as a broad variety of other tools across the stack including Enzyme, Python, and Terraform.
As a Software Engineer contracted through Focus Consulting, I contributed to the maintenance and enhancement of the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) website. I led several initiatives to improve the user experience and satisfaction of the PFML website, such as developing a new frontend code pattern that facilitated contextual alerts and smarter routing, and writing the technical roadmap for an initiative to enable users to receive legal notices and email notifications in their preferred language. I also collaborated with a scrum team and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality and impactful solutions, while adhering to best practices and standards for web development and site reliability engineering.
I am passionate about web accessibility and user engagement, and I seek to apply my skills and expertise to create web applications that make a positive difference in people's lives. I enjoy working with diverse and cross-functional teams, learning new technologies and frameworks, and solving complex and challenging problems. I am looking for new opportunities to leverage my full stack development skills and experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
